Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts

John & Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden

The John & Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden opened in 2018 in partnership with the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. It was created with an open concept that was easy to introduce new art installments over time, while maintaining some permanent installations as well. The Garden is a space where the community can come together in an outdoor gallery, attend open-air educational programs, host special events, or simply find inspiration in a serene setting that highlights the connection between art and nature’s beauty.

How We Support

The John and Joyce Caddell Foundation has made significant contributions to the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA). One notable project is the creation of the John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden, a beautiful outdoor space that enhances the museum’s offerings by allowing visitors to experience art in a natural setting. The garden features sculptures that complement the museum’s existing collections, and it provides a peaceful place for the community to enjoy art outside of the traditional gallery environment. Additionally, the foundation has supported the museum through unrestricted charitable grants, which help fund its operations, exhibitions, and educational programs. These contributions are vital for sustaining the museum’s efforts to engage the public and enrich the cultural life of the Montgomery community. This ongoing partnership between the foundation and MMFA demonstrates a commitment to enhancing access to the arts and supporting the long-term growth of the institution.
